"I got my May '97 Consumer Reports yesterday and they have a large article on children online. One of their side stories is called "Cyberspace: the promise" subtitled "Four ways the web serves children well." Under the section "Meeting other children" it says, in part: The Web is a bit riskier; it's harder to check a keypal's identity. We found better security at A Girl's World (www.agirlsworld.com), where users communicate through numbers similar to a post-office box, so they don't have to disclose their e-mail address. I'm impressed."

Hello to You!
I got my Granddaughter involved in your Pen Pal Club for the main reason to have her practice her grammer during the summer before she entered Middle School and hopefully meet a a couple of friends along the way. This has been really a nice little experience for her. She kind of fought it at first because she didn't want to write letters, BUT...when she started to recieve replies from some back, that changed things! She is doing more and more and I am very pleased with this whole thing! Melaina is the type that is always OUTSIDE and very involved with her friends. She has her own computer and hardly uses it except for school research or playing games. She AND I have been exploring your Site and have already recommended it to a couple of her cousins and she has told several friends about you. Thank You for having this available. Thanks again!

I love this club. I am from Alabama, but I've already met two girls from out of the country! It's really interesting to learn what it's like in India and England, where they are from.
